1. How does one explain the fact that the extant remains of the columns of the

Heraion at Olympia show that the remaining columns are of different ages and

styles?

2.  Write a brief note regarding éach temple’s contribution to the extension of interior

space. Include also its approximate date of construction:

1. Temple of Hera at Olympia

2. Temple of Aphaia at Aegina

3. Parthenon

3. Discuss the problem of the triglyph in Doric temples
