lab 9 EE circuit lab
Look around and notice all the ways that energy is being used. List some ways that energy is being wasted. 2. Together with your lab partner, design a device of your choice (one device per team) that has the potential to save energy. Be creative. a. Which input sensor will your device use (see Appendix A)? b. Which output device will your device use (see Appendix B)? c. Describe how the device would operate assuming that you could install it in the appropriate environment and had access to the desired output device. d. Describe any differences between your device and the prototype that you will build in lab. e. Describe how you will demonstrate your prototype. 3. Briefly summarize the following factors that relate to your device: a. Economic – explain how your device has the potential to save energy and estimate how much energy it might save b. Safety – explain any safety concerns related to your device. Could it accidentally injure or kill people? c. Environmental – what impacts would your device have on the environment if it were sold to the public? d. Ethical factors – what ethical factors would need to be addressed if your device were sold to the public?
